Afrimed is a solution for Africa’s hospitals. The project aimed to facilitate the doctors' work and the patient's contact with them. It is an answer for all people who have experienced a situation where there was no possibility of getting an appointment or immediate help and waiting in line took hours or even days. Afrimed solves all these problems and lets one live with a thought about a peaceful tomorrow.
OUR Work
We have created components for Afrimed, an application that connects users with Doctors, Hospitals, Clinics, and Pharmacies. It was of the essence to have consistency in the whole application. We enjoyed designing Afrimed's navigation flow and interactions with patients. We wanted to display in the design the digital community that Afrimed is bringing together with its application! We have worked on the design for scheduling, checking and managing visits. For the identity, we developed a visual language that represents the spirit of this health initiative in Africa. For the logo, we used as a reference an African animal, united with water as a symbol of life and a heart that stands for care and nurture. The colors, green and blue, are similar to those in nature and also are associated with hospitals and medicine. We also created a series of illustrations and graphics that give this brand a playful and cutting-edge character.
The Concept
From now on, patients can track all diseases, receive prescriptions for medications, all the way to observe the epidemic. Connecting the broad area of healthcare with patients has brought many opportunities and benefits for both sides, such as: Making online consultations, which are in chat or video call form.
