Icon Pack Animation
Animated icon set and interactive wordmark for Halaska Studio’s website, created with Rive using subtle, brand-aligned motion. The animations were tested live in Framer and are now in production, enhancing how Halaska presents services such as UX, Product Design, Mobile, and MVPs.

Requirements
The goal was to animate a fully custom icon set while keeping motion subtle, on-brand, and suitable for web environments. All animations needed to be production-ready, with real-time behavior validated before final delivery. Additionally, the motion language was extended beyond the icons to include the brand wordmark, ensuring a cohesive visual system.
Challenges
One of the main challenges was adding expressiveness without falling into over-animation. It was essential to maintain strong brand consistency across all icons while keeping animations lightweight and performant for web use. Designing interactions that felt responsive yet restrained required careful timing and motion balance.
Process
We provided a team consisting of:

The collaboration began after Chris Halaska shared the icon set publicly, creating an opportunity for a direct motion-driven response. All icon animations were built in Rive, with close attention to subtle timing and brand alignment. Early iterations were tested live in Framer to validate real-world behavior of the .riv files before launch. The animated icon set was then delivered and deployed live on the homepage. As a bonus, an interactive Halaska wordmark was designed and implemented in Rive, using hover-based, liquid, and magnetic-style motion for the website footer.

The Concept
Icons and wordmarks are often treated as static assets. This project explores how subtle, intentional motion can elevate brand expression without adding noise—using interaction-driven animation to reinforce identity, clarity, and craftsmanship across a digital product.
