Requirements
The goal of this project was to animate feature cards in a way that clearly communicates product value while preserving a clean, minimalist motion language. The animations needed to support live text updates without disrupting the animation flow, allow seamless switching between light and dark themes, and remain performant and scalable for real-world web use.
Challenges
One of the main challenges was finding the right balance between subtle motion and strong visual communication. The animations had to be flexible enough to adapt to different themes while maintaining consistency across multiple cards and interaction states. Additionally, implementing data binding without introducing visual glitches required careful planning and testing to ensure a smooth, reliable experience.
Process
We provided a team consisting of:
1 Designer
The feature card motion was designed directly in Rive, with a strong focus on clarity, restraint, and usability. Data binding was implemented to support live text updates, while input states were used to enable smooth transitions between light and dark themes. AutoLayout ensured responsiveness across different layouts and screen sizes, and feathering was applied to refine visual transitions. To finalize and present the concept, a polished video was created using After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Artlist assets.
