AfriMed
AfriMed serves as a comprehensive solution for hospitals across Africa, with the primary objective of streamlining medical practitioners' workflow and enhancing patient-doctor interactions. This initiative addresses the challenges faced by individuals who have encountered situations where securing appointments or immediate assistance was unavailable, resulting in prolonged waiting times extending to hours or even days.

Hosting for the AfriMed platform leveraged a client-preferred provider, introducing new infrastructure for our team to engage with.
Challenges
Embarking on the AfriMed project, our team encountered a fascinating challenge in web development. While creating a landing page posed minimal difficulty, the true test lay in implementing the animations. Navigating this endeavour pushed the boundaries of innovation, resulting in a digital space that informs and engages visitors through dynamic visual elements.
In the design area, our main challenge revolved around delving deeper into User Experience (UX) on the dynamics between doctors and patients. a commitment that led us to innovate in the design process.
Process
We provided a team consisting of:
1 Project Manager
1 Designer
2 Developers
1 QA/QC Specialist
Our design journey included the creation of AfriMed's navigation flow and developing patient interactions, emphasising fostering a sense of digital community within the application - designing features for scheduling, check-ins, and visit management to enhance user experience.
We initiated our collaboration with comprehensive design sessions, working closely with the client to shape the sections and content of the landing page. Post-design approval, our focus shifted to the meticulous identification of implementation tasks and the creation of a robust project infrastructure.
Ensuring quality from the start, QA/QC principles were integral throughout the project. The journey culminated in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), where the client's final approval solidified the success of our collaborative efforts.

The Concept
We've been actively involved in shaping the design elements for the AfriMed landing page and AfriMed app. Furthermore, we had the pleasure of not only designing the AfriMed Landing page but also establishing its infrastructure. AfriMed, an application designed to connect users with healthcare providers, including doctors, hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies, is currently in the development stage. Ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience throughout the application has been our primary focus.
